Section 48
Application for driver's license

(1) If a person who is not disqualified as per Section 47 wants to get a driver's license to drive a vehicle, he must submit an application to the authorized officer in the prescribed format.
(2) With the application as per sub-section (1), the applicant must submit the prescribed fee for the driver's license, a certified copy of the citizenship certificate, three passport size photographs taken recently, a health certificate issued by a doctor recognized by the Government of Nepal.
